Reports turn the register into answers. Build a template visually from any entity, generate it whenever you need it, and optionally schedule it to arrive by email on a recurring basis. Reports

Building a report template

Open Reports and use the template builder to lay out sections:
  • Asset table: a row per asset, with the columns, filters, sort order and row limit you choose.
  • Summary table: rows grouped by a field (say category or location), with aggregate columns like count, sum, average, minimum or maximum, and support for custom math formulas.
  • Text section: freeform notes or a title for the report.
  • Manual table: a table you fill in by hand, for anything that isn’t pulled from the register.
Every table-type section starts with Report on, which chooses what the section reports about: assets, locations, people, violations, or maintenance. Filters and columns are drawn from that entity’s real fields, including custom fields.

Generating a report

From the Generate tab, pick a saved template and a format (Excel or CSV), then run it. Finished files appear in the History tab with their status, so a large report you started earlier is easy to find again without regenerating it.

Templates

Save a template once and reuse it. A good starting set covers the questions your team asks repeatedly: assets by location, warranty expiry over the next quarter, assets with no owner assigned. Build the handful you need, then generate them on demand.

Schedules

The Schedules tab emails a report to a list of recipients on a recurring cadence (daily, weekly, or another interval you set) without anyone needing to remember to run it. Each schedule shows its next run time and status, so you can see at a glance whether it’s healthy.
